Protecting yourself from fraud

We have recently been made aware of people being approached by email, phone and social media by fraudsters using the names, Amigo Marketing and Zero&Amgo.

Please be aware that Amigo Loans Ltd or Amigo Holdings PLC are not associated with Amazon or Shopee, nor are we involved with the hosting of any cryptocurrency or stock trading platforms.

When browsing the internet and applying for credit it is important to be aware that fraudsters are continually looking for new ways to cheat you out of your money. Extreme care should be taken before giving your personal information to any company you are not familiar with. It is always advisable to do some research to ensure you are dealing with a reputable business before handing over your payment details.

Please be aware that:

• A genuine Amigo email would only ever be sent from an address ending with @amigoloans.co.uk or @amigo.me
• We would not ask you for money to apply for a loan

If you believe that you have been targeted, feel that your personal information is at risk, or have lost money please ensure that you report this to Action Fraud and your bank immediately.

If you have concerns about suspicious websites, calls or messages relating to Amigo, please email [email protected] so that we can look to review these for you and offer further advice.
